The Tennessee Coalition’s 2025 Annual Conference reflected our commitment to ending domestic and sexual violence in Tennessee through education, prevention, policy development, and victim services. The two-day, in-person conference brought together victim service providers, law enforcement, court personnel, batterers’ intervention programs, social workers, health care providers, students, university faculty, and other allied professionals from across the state.
The conference served as a platform for innovative ideas and fresh perspectives, with a focus on “what’s next” in the field of victim services and on bringing effective, forward-thinking resources to victim advocates and allied professionals. Thought leaders and practitioners shared research, program evaluation strategies, promising practices, and emerging approaches designed to strengthen services and improve outcomes for survivors.
Throughout the conference, participants explored ways to move beyond measuring outputs to better understand the impact of our collective work. By sharing knowledge, examining promising and innovative practices, and learning from one another, the 2025 Annual Conference strengthened our shared efforts to improve services, advance the field, and work toward a Tennessee free from domestic and sexual violence.
